Ipomoea coccinea Orange Noah

Hummingbirds are the best reason to plant 'Orange Noah'. And butterflies. A profusion of intensely orange blooms will catch your eye from a block away. They're the size of a quarter, have a yellow star throat, and they stay open all day.

'Orange Noah' is a miniature morning glory. As vigorous as it is charming, it climbs to 10', thrives in full sun, any soil, an easy annual in zones 3-9. Especially happy in hot dry climates, it does fine in a container and will even grow indoors.

Soak seeds in warm water overnight, sow no more than 1/4 inch deep. Cover with plastic wrap and a rubber band to keep in heat and moisture. Place in a warm, sunny spot, keeping soil consistently moist, but not soaking wet.
