Cercis canadensis - Eastern Redbud

$3.69

Eastern Redbud is an outstanding small tree, both for eyepopping color in spring and low maintenance. Most of the year it's dense with heart shaped leaves. In early spring, clusters of magenta blossoms cover bare stems and sometimes grow right from the trunk itself. They hold for weeks.

Native to the Atlantic Coast from Canada to Florida, Eastern Redbud thrives most anywhere in zones 4-10 and is hardy down to -25 degrees. It grows quickly to 15', is gorgeous in sun or shade, and makes a terrific street tree or garden showpiece.
