Red Marconi Sweet Heirloom Pepper
This sweet Italian heirloom is highly prized throughout Italy for its flavor and versatility. Huge tapered fruits are excellent roasted, stuffed, or grilled, and they taste wonderul crispy fresh in salads.
Marconi matures a bit later than bell peppers but produces much sweeter tastier fruits. Two foot plants produce high yields of 10" peppers that can be picked early while they're light green or later when bright red and fully mature for maximum sweetness.
Red Marconi is versatile in the kitchen and a real trooper in the garden. Plants are resistant to tobacco mosaic virus and potato Y virus. Keep harvesting the peppers and they'll produce until frost. 80-90 days.
