Blue Monkeyflower, Mimulus ringens

$2.99
Blue Monkey Flower is an American native found in stream banks and wet meadows. Perennial in zones 3-9, it's pretty enough for any garden and perfect for shady spots where most flowers get floppy. It thrives in partial shade, moist rich soil, is happy on land or in water.

Violet-blue flowers an inch across cover the plant from June through September. They look like smiling faces. Plants grow about 2' tall, form pretty clusters, reseed themselves generously. This is an easy plant for the right spot and is spectacular all summer. Hummers love it.

Seeds are microscopic!
