Fin de Bagnol - French Green Bean
These slender French green beans are crisp, sweet, and delicate enough to eat off the vine. They're favored by gourmet chefs, expensive in supermarkets (when you can find them), and a snap to grow in your own garden.
A traditional French heirloom, (fin de bagnol means shoestring), they've been a favorite throughout Europe for decades. The dwarf plants are prolific and do well in cool soil. They're bush beans, quick to produce, easy to harvest.
The slender dark green pods are best when picked every 2-3 days. To keep a steady supply coming, sow every few weeks from spring till fall. Market growers: these seeds are Certified Organic. 50-60 days.
